The Visual Analytics Hub gives you access to analysis on a range of topics that have been prepared by the Health Analytics and Insights Branch. Analyses are presented visually, and the application allows you to explore them using its interactive features. The goal is to support better evidence-informed planning and decision making.

COVID-19 Resources
COVID-19 Confirmed Cases
This interactive report is based on confirmed COVID-19 cases submitted to the ministry via public health units through the iPHIS system. It includes information on cases by demographics, location, population rates, health care status and LTC and non-LTC cases. There are two views currently available by Public Health Unit and by Ontario Health Regions with drill downs to public health units, LHINs and sub-regions. Data are updated daily at approximately 10:00 am for the previous day
COVID-19 Regional Hospitals
This interactive report provides metrics on COVID-19 hospital capacity and COVID-19 cases. It includes metrics on critical care, inpatient care, assessment centres and personal protective equipment. Metrics are available at the provincial, region, LHIN and hospital levels. Data are updated daily at approximately 4:00 pm for the previous day.
COVID-19 Testing
This interactive report provides COVID-19 testing benchmark metrics including population testing rates, percent positivity and testing turn around times. There are two views currently available by Public Health Unit Regions and by Ontario Health Regions with drill downs to public health units, LHINs and sub-regions. Benchmarks are also provided by demographics (age/sex). All information is based on COVID-19 tests captured in the Ontario Laboratories Information System (OLIS). Report data updated Monday to Friday.
COVID-19 Vaccine Resources
These COVID-19 vaccine resources provide interactive reports that track Ontario’s vaccine program. They include metrics on public health unit coverage, vaccine types, and trending over time. An FSA map is included to track vaccination progress by smaller geographic areas with demographic and social economic status included.

This interactive report explores key facts about Ontario’s population, mortality and births, service utilization, and general health indicators by LHIN and sub-region. It offers a snapshot of summary indicators and a reference map for each LHIN and sub-region. Data from the 2016 Census of Canada.
Home and Community Care [Restricted Access]
Home care activity tool
This interactive report allows you to explore key metrics on Ontario's home care system. Analyze home care client activity, service volume, wait times, and care giver trends over the last five years. Report data updated annually, and wait times updated quarterly.
Quality improvement plan for home care
This interactive report focuses on two home care QIP indicators: 1) percentage of home care clients who experienced an unplanned readmission to hospital within 30 days of discharge from hospital, and 2) percentage of home care clients with an unplanned, less-urgent emergency department (ED) visit within the first 30 days of discharge from hospital.

Hospital utilization
This report is an interactive summary of various hospital utilization measures including clinical, financial, and occupancy information at the provincial, LHIN, and individual hospital levels. Hospital bed availability and utilization statistics are updated Monday to Friday.

2016 Census profile
This report provides a comprehensive statistical profile of Ontario's Local Health Integration Network (LHIN) sub-regions. Data from the 2016 Census of Canada are analyzed to present measures relating to population demographics and social and economic status. Data from the 2016 Census of Canada.
Population reports
This series of interactive tools provide information on population dynamics for past, present and future. For example, the tools can provide details on age structure for a specific geography of interest, or the population change over time.
Sociodemographic & population health resources
This series of interactive reports present the analysis of population health data from Statistics Canada's Canadian Health Survey of Children and Youth (CHSCY) and Canadian Community Health Survey (CCHS) as well as sociodemographic data from Public Health Ontario's Ontario Marginalization Index and Environics Analytics' DemoStats. Population health indicators include food insecurity, overweight and obese, physically inactive, self-rated physical and mental health, analyzed by age group, indigenous status and geography. Sociodemographic characteristics include household size, family structure, income, immigration status, mother tongue and knowledge of official language, analyzed by forward sortation area (FSA). Report data updated with 2019 data for CHSCY, and with 2012 DemoStats data (based on 2021 StatsCan census).

Impact of COVID-19 on Primary Care
This report provides up-to-date metrics on primary care indicators such as number of visits and number of patients by OH region, patient enrolment models (PEM), visit type (Virtual vs. In-person) and virtual modality type (telephone vs. video). Trends over time in primary care visits can be filtered by OH region, LHINs or PEM. Report data updated monthly.
Health Care Connect
This interactive report provides daily-updated summary statistics on the Health Care Connect program with customized focus on specific areas relevant to key policy/program decisions. Report data updated Monday to Friday.
Health Care Experience Survey (HCES) - Full report
This interactive report displays results for all questions in the HCES, as well as trends over time since fiscal year 2015. Results are provided at the provincial level, as well as by LHIN and sub-region. Report data last updated with November 2020 HCES data.
